Gentleman's Vintage large Francis Barker & Sons (London) working British MK V1 chunky compass fob for a pocket watch chain.

(Please excuse all the reflections/dark shadows in the pictures - was very difficult to photograph).

Measures; 7.3cm height (including the top ring), 4.6cm width, 1.3cm depth and weighs a heavy 61.5 grams.

Large and chunky pocket watch shaped silver nickel case which is clearly stamped to one side; F.B & S (1932) LTD MK V1 and is nunbered;B12312.

The front cover opens correctly to exactly 90 degrees when the top button is depressed, closing tightly with a very reassuring click.

Correctly numbered to the front curvette again with the main case number; 5234.

'Floating' compass which seems to be operating correctly and original very thick bevel edge glass (not acrylic) which is in amazing condition with no scratches or 'flea nibbles'.

Original firm totally un-worn bail and extremely robust large top ring.

Excellent bright clean condition with no indentations, just a little bit of overall patina/light surface scratches and a little bit of loss to the orange lume which is showing (under eyeglass) to the underside of the glass - all commensurate with age.

Will arrive in a new velvet presentation pouch and be securely and safely packed.

Please view my feedback as guarantee of my integrity.
