The Cosmo Stray Kat is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The model features a ribbed design. It provides exceptional grip on dry, wet, and snowy roads. The wet grip is further boosted with the use of directed super silica, along with the specific groove design. The circumferential grooves drain slush and water from under the footprint, increasing traction and averting hydroplaning. The sipe arrangement across the tread gives extra biting edges, for safer and secure light snow traction. The ribbed design ensures maximum road contact, enhancing dry grip. In addition, the compound adapts the tire to different temperatures, preserving its flexibility and keeping it operational in all seasons.

The model is built to be durable. It sports a stronger construction, making the tire sturdier and allowing it to withstand heavy loads and cargo, without deformation. The inner reinforcement helps the model evenly spread out the pressure across its circumference, preventing pressure accumulation on sensitive tread areas. The tread design also helps with equal pressure distribution with its ribbed design that ensures consistent road contact. The stiffer sidewalls also avert flexing, while also adding to the overall stability.

The tire sports an elongated tread life. The deeper starting tread offers more rubber to wear out during the model's performance. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
