OVERVIEW

The Nexen N'Fera SU1 is a performance and high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model comes with a 25,000 miles treadwear warranty.

The tire provides exceptional summer weather traction thanks to the tread pattern and the tire compound that improve the wet and dry weather road gripping ability. The model, however, is not meant to be used in winter conditions, as the tire compound does not maintain its flexibility in lower temperatures. The tread pattern's three main circumferential grooves and one semi groove increase its hydroplaning resistance by channeling the water away from the tire footprint. The better traction and water dispersing ability allow the tire to be safely used in all summer conditions.

The model upgrades its driving safety with the enhanced braking and cornering abilities. The unique tread pattern's maintained road contact shortens the braking distance by boosting the braking ability. As the tire has constant contact with the road it creates friction at the moment of braking, which reduces the braking distance significantly. The cornering and maneuvering power and capability are upgraded thanks to the enhanced tread block rigidity. It prevents the tread area from shifting around and provides additional road gripping ability. This ensures that the tire grips onto the road surface in all cornering and maneuvering situations, offering a safer driving experience.

The tread pattern's equally balanced design extends the tire's usability and tread life. It evenly spreads out the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking across the tread area. This distribution of the driving pressure promotes even wear along the tread. The prevention of irregular tread wear extends the tread life by providing a uniform wear pattern throughout the tire's life. The better usability and longer lasting tread life make the tire more cost efficient.

The N'Fera SU1 has exceptional high speed performing abilities. The optimum surface split siping design increases the tire's road gripping ability. The improved road grip and maintained constant road contact enhance the tire's performing capabilities. The tire can safely perform to its utmost capability as it sticks to the road in all summer weather conditions.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
