Original Document.  Hand Written Alphabet.  Probably Written by Michael Gingrich (1710-1784) of Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

I found this in Lebanon, PA, together with other similar documents but from different individuals.  All the same size and condition and dating from the mid 1700's to the early 19th. century.  Looks like they were all removed from the same notebook. (curious!) This one signed by Michael Gingrich (1710 - 1784) on the backside.  I assume it was he who wrote out the alphabet.  I have two other similar size documents listed here on eBay by him which I assume were from the mid to late 1700's.

The alphabet is 4" x 6-1/2", in very good condition considering it's at least 250 years old.  If he wrote this out when he was a boy, it could date it to say, 1720 or there about.  If so, then it's over 300 years old!  (George Washington wasn't even born until 1732).  There's not much American paper about that precedes Washington.
