My wife and I (She is Tlingit from Southeast Alaska) have been working on and designing these wood and resin ovoid creations, we call them Raven Eye Earrings. We use maple wood and resin to make them look like a stained-glass ovoid. Each piece is handmade and will have flaws (such as bubbles trapped in the resin) that we try to mitigate but also gives each piece its own character. They are about 1/8 inch in thickness, 1 and 7/8 inches long, and about 1 and 1/4 inches wide, with stainless steel hypoallergenic ear wires and findings. These make a great adornment for celebrations and get-togethers, also would enhance any regalia
