Copper Niti Arch Wire Kit

Introdution:

• Copper Ni-Ti wire is a quaternary alloy that provides the unique benefit of a low hysteresis, allowing the clinician to easily engage the wire which increases efficiency and provides more comfort for the patient. The addition of copper to traditional nickel titanium enhances thermal reactive properties and consistency of forces.
• Copper Ni-Ti cross-sections come with archwire stops, pre-loaded, for your convenience. Stops are easily crimped with arch-bending Howe or Weingart pliers.

Archwire Sequencing

Phase I: Initial Light Round Wires:

• .014 copper Niti : Start tooth movement, leveling, begin arch form development, prepare for next archwire.

Phase II: High-Technology Edgewise Wires:

• .014*.025 copper Niti: The workhorse of the second phase. Placed in upper and lower well-prepared arches.
• .017*.025 Ni-Ti Arch Wires: Used with 20° of anterior torque and reverse curve; superb for division 2 second wire. 
• If only intrusion needed, use the same size wire without the torque in the anterior.

Phase III: Major Mechanics:

• .019*.025 S.S  Arch Wires: Excellent archwire to maintain integrity of arch. 
• Use during anteroposterior correction and closure. 
• Great for maintaining the anterior vertical and posterior buccolingual.
