OVERVIEW

The Patriot R/T is a rugged terrain, all season tire made for SUVs and light trucks.

The tread design and all season compound work together to boost the versatile terrain performance. The tread's larger, staggered tread block placement and wide zigzag groove pattern enhance the model's soft, loose and uneven terrain gripping ability. This enables the tire to enhance the grip throughout the tire's lifetime, guaranteeing a secure driving experience. The tread's optimal pattern also maintains a clean footprint. These elements eliminate mud and snow and eject rocks stuck between the footprint to significantly increase the surface contact and to avoid stone retention from harming the tire's casing. In this manner, the tire ensures a safer on- and off-road terrain performing capability and power.

The tread design enhances its durability. The reinforced construction boosts the load and driving durability, while it also actively prevents damage to the casing. The strengthened ply construction maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. As a result, the tire is capable of handling and withstanding heavy load pressure throughout its performance. The construction is combined with the tread compound to avoid damage to the tread area and the casing. The compound resists the tread's cracking, chipping and tearing during the drive, while the structure prevents punctures, cuts, abrasions and other accidental damage from shortening the tire's usability.

The tire's lifetime is further boosted with the optimal tread design and durable compound. The stronger compound is damage resistant, which significantly slows the tread wear rate down, increasing the usability and tread life. The optimized tread design ensures even wear along the tread area. The stabilized tread block placement and the center tread's wider tread blocks equally spread out the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking along the tread area. In this manner, the tire guarantees a slower and even wear pattern, significantly lengthening the tread life and the tire's usability.

The R/T upgrades the controllability with the optimal tread design and internal structure. They boost the tire's surface and road contact at all times, which enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. This ensures the driver's full control over the vehicle throughout its performance, increasing the driving safety and security.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
