How To Adjust Sliding Patio Door Rollers?

  1. Many wooden patio doors have tandem roller assemblies that allow it to slide open and closed smoothly.
  2. These rollers adjust vertically, so the wheels can be raised or lowered to raise or lower your door panel without removing from its frame.
  3. The rollers can easily adjust from the outside when a small plastic hole cap at the bottom of the door panel removed. After exposing the adjustment screw on the roller, you need to use a flathead or phillips screwdriver to do the job.
  4. Some roller assemblies turn clockwise to raise the panel and counter-clockwise to lower it. Carefully try turning your screwdriver one way or the other to figure out which direction you need to turn.
