Antique Victorian-era opera glasses featuring a beautiful pink enamel finish with black floral decoration and brass construction.
These classic theater binoculars date to approximately 1880–1910 and were designed for use at the opera, theater, and other indoor events. They feature a central focusing wheel and retain their original decorative detailing.
Condition:
• Good antique condition with age-appropriate wear
• Some patina to brass (left unpolished to preserve originality)
• Enamel shows light wear but remains vibrant and attractive
• Lenses show minor dust/haze consistent with age; the right objective lens is loose and will come out of place (slip inward) with too much handling, but can easily be put back into place by unscrewing the eyepiece/ocular lens piece).
• Focus wheel turns and operates
