Measures approximately 5 1/4 inches tall, 4 3/8 inches wide, and 1 7/8 inches thick.

Designed in the 1960's by the Danish artist Marianne Johansson for Royal Copenhagen Denmark.  The round flat sided vase is made of porcelain clay that was hand painted with navy blue, purple, and green glazing in an abstract bird and floral design on both sides. It is marked with the piece number 247/3102, along with the Royal Copenhagen crown and waves hallmark, "Denmark", "Fajance", a letter "A", and the artist's mark which is her initials "MJ". 

Fajance (or faience) refers to a type of tin-glazed pottery, a ceramic material that was historically developed by adding tin oxide to a lead glaze. 

No chips or damage.
