      • Quartz in fine grained of rose color, live in appearance and carries gold in paying quantities
      • Convinced that it is as rich and more uniform than the ore in the open cut of the Homestake Mine
      • Concludes Penobscot is virtually a mountain of ore
      • Recommend that a large 3 compartment shaft be sunk where you determine to locate your mill
      • In matter of fuel; thousands of acres of the finest timber will furnish fuel for ages at small cost
    • Believes Penobscot Mine shows better than any mine he has ever examined and feels sure of ultimate success
