An antique, yellow metal stickpin; mounted with a hand carved natural dark orange coral head, sculpted in 3d as a dog / wolf's head.
Distinctive, attractive & very collectable...wearable too!
CONDITION: All original and good. Slight signs of wear commensurate with age and use, a few small nicks/chips to coral, natural inclusions evident - please see pictures. Pin tip is blunt. DATE/MARKS: Around 1820/30. Not marked. DIMENSIONS: 65 mm long overall, head 16 x 14 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter. WEIGHT: Approx. 4.3 grams.
