Jean Ellis was a wonderfully organic artist who painted enthusiastically from the heart.  She undertook numerous commissions to produce works that showed her customers homes and gardens in glorious colour enhancing the joy of each.
What we have here is a small, but perfectly formed, painting of Blackpool beach on a summers day with the tower and pier in the background.
A nice thing and ready to hang and give a little sunshine.
