Notes for Optimal PC Connection

For the best performance when using the Schiit Fulla E with a computer, here are a few helpful setup tips.
I personally never experienced any connection issues, but I’ve read online that some users have, which is why these recommendations can be useful.

1. USB Connection

The Fulla E requires both USB‑C cables to be connected:
  • One for power
  • One for data
This ensures stable operation and prevents audio dropouts.

2. Recommended Windows Settings

To avoid USB power‑saving issues that can interrupt audio:

A. Disable Windows “Fast Startup”

  • Open the powercfg.cpl command
  • Select Choose what the power buttons do
  • Click Change settings that are currently unavailable
  • Save changes and restart your PC

B. Disable USB Selective Suspend

  • Go to Power Options
  • Select Change advanced power settings
  • Expand USB settings → USB selective suspend setting
  • Disable for both On battery and Plugged in

C. USB Root Hub Power Management
  • Open Device Manager
  • Find USB Root Hub entries
  • Right‑click → Properties → Power Management
  • Uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power
