OVERVIEW

The Kumho Crugen HT51 is a highway terrain, all weather tire built for commercial vans, SUVs, and light trucks. It has some touring, passenger vehicle sizes as well. Kumho offers a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with SUV sizes and a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with the light tucks sizes of this model.

Kumho covers this tire model and size with its Road Hazard Warranty. This warranty is available for tires damaged by road hazards within the first 12 months after the purchase date, or until the first 3/32” of the tire tread wears away, whichever comes first! If this tire sustains road hazard damage (typically caused by nails, glass, or potholes) on its tread area, customers have a right to use the Road Hazard warranty for a Tire Replacement of an equivalent Kumho tire. To receive the Road Hazard warranty, customers with damaged tires must file a claim with Kumho Tires.

The tire has excellent all weather traction, including for harsher winter conditions. Most of these tires are branded with the mountain peak and snowflake symbol that winter tires bear, as they are capable of handling more extreme weather conditions. The model also provides resistance to hydroplaning, as the zigzag-style pattern of the tread helps disperse water for a safer drive. The tire maintains its superb road grip in all weather conditions.

The symmetric tread pattern and the tread's block shape result in a longer lasting tread life. The tire wears our evenly, as the force of accelerating, braking and cornering are equally distributed along the tire's footprint. Also due to the enlarged footprint, along with the 3D sipes in the tread pattern, the tire offers a shorter braking distance, enabling it to stop shorter for a safer driving experience.

The tire's stability is thanks to the center blocks in the tread pattern, which stabilize its high speed performance and increase its steering precision. The tire becomes easier to control and handle because of it. The reinforced sidewall of the Crugen HT51 gives the tire extra strength, making the driving experience safer and more comfortable.

All weather tires receive the three mountain peak and snowflake (3PMS) symbol for their exceptional winter weather performance. They are all season tires with extra winter weather grip, in order to guarantee safer year-round durability. This ensures their true and secure driving ability throughout the year.

Not all tire sizes are suitable for all vehicle types. Please refer to the item specifications for accurate information about vehicle type fitment for this particular size.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
