Total height on base of 27.5 cm.
Dimensions of the whistle of 25 x 6.5 x 4.5 cms.
Materials: Wood.
Assumed age: 1980s or later.
Whistle of the Senoufo ethnic group, coming from the north of Côte d'Ivoire.
The whistles of this ethnic group are used by hunters, in order to communicate with each other during hunting.
The handle is materiality by a calao, mystical bird among the Senufo, and emblematic representation of African art.
The room is sold with the wooden and metal base appearing in the photos.
