(Full serviced on March 19, 2026)

[Description of services]
Full disassembly, cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and assembly.

[Originality Verified] - Authentic Original
The watch is judged to be original and period-correct in its main configuration.
Case and caseback, dial, movement, hands, bezel, and bracelet are considered original, and the period consistency is good.

[Features]
Ref. 6426 / cal. 1220 / 34mm case (excluding crown) / 19mm lug
Year of manufacture: c. 1967 / Serial No: 167xxxx
Non-waterproof.

This is a clean and honest Oyster Precision with an attractive original silver sunburst dial.
A strong point is the very good Rolex rivet bracelet, which shows little stretch.
The watch dates to 1967, and the bracelet is stamped 68.4, so it appears broadly period-consistent.

[Dial] : Very Good
It appears to remain in original condition.
No clear signs of redial, repainting, or relume.
Light aging and minor marks are present.

[Hands] : Very Good
They appear to remain original, with no clear signs of replacement or relume.
Light aging is visible.

[Crystal] : Very Good
Plexiglass.

[Case, crown and back of the case] : Very Good
The case shows light signs of age and use.
Crown screw-in is very good (approx. 1.5 turns to unlock).
The serial number engraving is clear.

The inside caseback is stamped 6427, while the case is stamped 6426. Based on the overall case construction and production period, I believe it is original. This kind of caseback stamp difference is occasionally seen in vintage Rolex watches. If the production period were significantly different, that would be something to question.

[Band] : Very Good
Rolex folded rivet bracelet, Ref. 7205 / End 60 / Code 68.4.
Wrist size approx. 17.5 cm.
There's almost no stretch

[Action] : Very Good
Hand-winding and time-setting work properly.

[Accuracy] : Very Good
About -1 to +15 sec/day.
(Measured by Timegrapher)

Vintage hunting should be fun.

But before you know it, you’re carrying everything alone—not just “I like it,” but authenticity, condition, market price, long-term value… and even how you’ll be perceived.

You want to ask questions, but you’re afraid you’ll be treated lightly as a beginner.
You don’t know what a fair price is.
You don’t want negotiations to feel awkward.
You want lasting value, but the “showing off” vibe isn’t you.
You’re also unsure what customs duties and import charges will cost.
What if it breaks right after it arrives?
The more you think, the more exhausting it gets—and that’s completely normal.

Cadran Patiné exists to quietly lift that weight.
Guided by “Love the patina,” we want to be your pre-purchase partner—helping you find the right piece: understated, refined, and built to be loved for years.
We don’t sell comfort with words. We build comfort you can verify.

Originality.
Fair pricing with clear reasoning.
Transparency you can check.
Returns and warranty.
We remove the points of hesitation, one by one.

Did you know there are disappointing pieces out there—watches with generic parts, replica parts, repainted dials, or even counterfeit movements swapped in?
I’ve personally been burned at auction by a fake.
It looked real—until I opened the case back. Inside was a cheap counterfeit movement. I still remember the frustration. That’s why we show what you can’t judge from the outside first: movement photos, timegrapher results, and the feel in hand—so you can know before you decide.

And if you find the right piece, imagine this:
With every small gesture, it looks refined on your wrist—and people trust you naturally.
Not loud. Just quietly confident.

Not polished shine, but character earned over time.
Something that fits into your style without trying.

Vintage is one of a kind. We’re not here to rush you.
But if a piece catches your eye, start by reaching out.

We’ll give you what you need to decide—with confidence, before you buy.
