I am listing a lot of 1980s to early 1990s 45 rpm records. I started collecting records in the mid 80s and would visit the local record shop regularly. Near the end of the 80s and into the early 90s, I also ordered 45s that weren’t stocked, but would be ordered by the store. I either played them once, or not at all (89 to 1991 or so). I got busy working and eventually got out fo the habit of transferring them to tape. When I was sorting through them, some of them still had receipts stuck in the sleeve, or an order slip attached to the sleeve.
Terms used in the title:
“Played once” - This 45 rpm single disc will be in VG++/NM . I’d play the hit/hits once (possibly twice if I screwed up the recording) to make mix tapes for the car. Then I put it on the shelf and never played it again. Many of them were never played at all. The sleeves will have normal wear from the store and/or storage. If the 45 is in a generic white sleeve, the original was faded, so I put it in a new one. If the 45 has a generic factory sleeve, or picture sleeve, it’s usually pictured. Every 45 listed is in a separate white sleeve, and the record and additional sleeve is in put together in a plastic sleeve.
“VG+/VG+” - I bought these second hand - and although I consider a lot of them in better shape, I’d rather be conservative so no one is disappointed in the condition they pay for. I followed the same routine as the “Played once” records- record and shelve.
As I sorted through them, if the picture sleeves were written on, they were pitched. If the discs had any scratches, they were pitched. These listings are the better records I had in the collecction.

I have mostly listed lots of records where are more than one for the same artist. I have a lot more 45 singles where I only have one from an artist - same time frame. I may or may not have what you’re looking for, but it won’t hurt to ask.
