See video to see this clockwork mechanism working.  I'm not sure how the little bell should be hooked up.  I think it needs a light spring on the arm.  Probably someone took it off because the constant dinging drove them mad.

Has the original key, and a spare somebody made up.

About 12.5" tall to the top of the carrying handle.  Cast iron base, heavy sheet metal upper housing.  Doors open on both sides.  Still has one mounting bracket for the square rod that held the meat over the fire.
