This is the smaller version with 22mm diameter barrels. It has a built-in foldaway stand, to keep the heat off surfaces.

When plugged in it will be OFF and will only start to heat up when you press the power button. It then shows the temperature as it rises and stops at 180 degrees. You can adjust the temperature to be higher or lower with the +/- buttons on the handle.
