This auction is for one (1) Avalon Hill Challenge Golf at Pebble Beach - 1976 - Complete.  The box, which is 2-1/8” tall, 8-1/4” wide and 11-3/8” long, is in very good vintage condition with some wear from storage.

The game is complete and contains three double sided laminated maps depicting the 18 holes, a Distance and direction play chart, a clear distance ruler, a laminated scorecard, two dice, a pencil and the instructions as well as an Avalon Hill promo.

 "Challenge Golf at Pebble Beach" is a board game version of golf where players use dice rolls to simulate shots on a laminated map of the Pebble Beach course. It includes special putting charts and allows players to choose from different golfer types, each with unique advantages.

Players select a club, then roll dice to determine shot length, hooks, or slices. Putting involves a special chart. Players mark their ball positions on a laminated map of the Pebble Beach course.

The game offers four distinct golfer types, each with unique advantages:
- Old Smoothy: Ignores extreme dice rolls.
- Ironsides: More accurate with irons.
- Boomer: Achieves greater distance with woods.
- The Blade: Better at putting.
