Offered here is a vintage Longines tank-style mechanical wristwatch, dating to approximately 1948 based on the movement serial number.
This is a manual-wind timepiece powered by the original Longines mechanical movement, caliber 23Z, featuring 17 jewels and a sub-seconds hand. This Swiss-made watch operates at a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour and offers an approximate power reserve of 44 hours. Serviced on 12/2025
The watch features a champagne dial that has developed an attractive vintage patina over time. It is accented by applied Arabic numerals, hour markers, a minute track, and matching hands. The sub-seconds register is positioned at 6 o’clock.
It is housed in a 26mm square case with lugs design, crafted in 10K yellow gold filled with the original signed crown. The watch is fitted with a brand-new brown two-piece leather strap, complementing its classic and elegant design.
Fully inspected and authenticated, this timepiece remains in very good vintage condition, showing signs of wear consistent with age. It is running properly and ready to wear and enjoy.
