Wright Industries guitar pedals

FEEDBACK FROM AN EBAY BUYER:

I just wanted to say I'm really impressed with this pedal, excellent work! I've played with it for a few days and last night I put it on the board for a band rehearsal, it worked so well. We do a couple of Jimi tracks and its perfect but I'm really impressed with how it cleans up! Cheers mate 👍”

Very limited run using vintage components and offering endless tweakability and sonic play via this classic circuit.
From low gain slightly brightened and boosted sound to all out feedback chaos with everything on 11. Both dials are interactive but don’t forget your guitar’s volume pot too, which offers a perfect clean up via a little dial back. Even your tone pot on 0 might surprise you, it’s a very interactive circuit 👌
The Q2 transistor switch is a tone shaper that offers the original, full “Raw” and wild fuzz face grind, “Nip” removes some of the glitchy fuzz and makes the pedal play nice, while “Nub” takes things into a beautiful mid to bass heavy push.

Initially only making a batch of ten, no current plans for more- I was lucky to get a supply of these genuine vintage resistors, but it was limited- each pedal is numbered and signed inside. As of March 2026 I’m releasing the final 5 for sale.

The interface design is the same but gold spray detailing makes each a unique thing- in a world of mass factory produced electronics and cheap AliExpress copies- these are genuine one-offs.

Painstakingly hand built bit by bit in the Cotswolds from a big beautiful bag of components. Hand painted, my original design anrtwork applied and then all finished with acrylic lacquer for protection. Every component is tested, laid out, added, tested again. The pedal is finished and tested and then will be checked again before posting.

Old school point to point wiring and bullet proof build technique ala those early mid century amps, using genuine vintage NOS carbon composite resistors and new axial capacitors (you wouldn’t want to take a chance on the longevity of 50 year old capacitors, believe me).

But I’ve updated the 60’s Fuzz Face where it counts with a modern input impedance of 1M, reliable silicon BC183 transistors (with smoother grain and thicker sounding than the usual BC109s which can be a touch fizzy), and true bypass on/off switching. There’s a reverse polarity diode on the 9v input for a (small) amount of protection should you plug in the wrong power supply, but please don’t do this- stuff gets hot and dies pretty quickly!

All biased to 4.25 volts where the circuit sounds best- you’re able to play with this using the internal trimmer, if you wish to experiment a little. Really though, you’re going to get less beautiful chaos, or much too much. Yellow and red marks indicate where the optimal bias is on those trimmers and I’d recommend leaving them as set.

Each pedal in numbered 2 to 11 inside,I have the prototype number 1, and I’ll send each number in order with each purchase. A hand drawn copy of the schematic is included too inside for your future reference.

I’ve crammed them full of as much mojo as I could, really. They’re gold inside, I mean, come on!
If you ever undo the screws to look (something I’d encourage you to do) just be careful it doesn’t fly out please- the mojo is under some considerable pressure in there and I don’t want to be responsible for staining your carpet👌

All will be sent out the next week day after your purchase, with a bonus 9v battery power lead as a little extra 🤘
