This Nissan Leaf was my son's daily commute for several years. He has now upgraded to a bigger battery vehicle, so I have taken it on to sell. The V5C will be in my name in a few days' time.
It has an MoT till August 2026, with only 1 advisory - front offside shock absorber has "light misting of oil".
This is a very comfortable car to drive, with black leather upholstery, air conditioning, etc. It is surprisingly spacious, with a good-sized boot. It is still capable of a range of 82 miles (see photo) even in winter, so the battery is in decent condition for its age.
The car has been well used, and I'm afraid it has several scratches and bumps. The worst of these is the rear drivers-side door and wing, the result of an argument with a solid brick gatepost. My son decided not to have it repaired professionally, and instead filled the dent as best he could and sprayed it white.
Everything works as it should, with the exception of the heater, which does not seem to be putting out very much heat until the car is warmed up. Not a problem with summer coming!
Also, there is an annoying rattle, caused by the plastic engine undertray being a bit loose. I will try to investigate and fix it if the rain holds off.
It comes with two charging cables - one for plugging into a normal domestic 13-amp 3-pin socket, the other for plugging into a standard charger (7kW and above).
There is not much in the way of service history, but it has just had a new 12v battery fitted, fairly new front tyres, and front discs and brake pads last year.
All in all this is an excellent first electric vehicle for anyone wanting a cheap runaround, who doesn't mind a bit of scruffy bodywork.
I am open to reasonable offers as the car is taking up valuable space!
The car is available to view in Bournemouth, BH3.
Payment by bank transfer on collection is preferred.
