Design & Performance
The 2225H features an extended voice coil for greater linear travel, resulting in tight transient response and reduced dynamic instability. Its advanced surround material and optimized suspension reduce distortion, allowing for higher crossover points than typical 15" drivers. The heavy cast aluminum frame ensures structural rigidity and aids in heat dissipation.
It was engineered for use in both horn-loaded and vented (bass reflex) enclosures, making it versatile for professional audio setups. However, it is not ideal for standalone bass guitar cabinets due to its lack of midrange and tendency to produce "sub-sonic mud" without proper crossover management.
