I just plain got tired of the cheap white plastic nut-serts that ford tried to hang the front bumper on with. They really didn’t work well and then if you ever had an issue requiring the bumper off and on the fitment was awful, always mis alignment and or a gap. These brackets were my solution. Toss out the stripped and broken ones and don’t worry about the missing ones. These brackets lay on top of the fender lip and you still thread in 10mm headed bolts/nuts from the bottom. Tying all 3 points together with this bracket makes a much more solid connection and if you worry about fitment you can even hold the bumper in or out a hair as you tighten them and it will stay sucked up tight and in position!
