This is a reproduction of the 426 hemi "non-shaker" hood air cleaner base plate for Edelbrock or AVS carbs.  The base is made out of metal just like the originals.  Don’t buy the aftermarket fiberglass ones to save a buck, they don’t work!  This is the big size for the AVS or Edelbrock style carbs, if you want a base for stock AFB carbs we carry those as well.   Notch or crimp the area of the baseplate that fits around the carburetor mouth (see photo)

The AVS carb (Edelbrock) has a bigger mouth than the stock AFB’s seen stock on a Hemi.  This is for the bigger carbs. Lid #NW1002 fits this base.
