Back story: I obtained these at an auction of a gentleman that passed away, so I'm not sure how long he had them.  Some sellers are calling these vintage, so that's up to you   This is the only package in size XL, all the rest are size L.  It appears that if he liked something, he bought several, which you will see in the auction for the size L.  I have check every package (this was a meticulous task) for anything weird (smells, dirt, etc.) and found nothing.  These are still being sold as regular briefs (not low rise), albeit not for the price on these packages.
