This signal red 300td was supplied by Mitchel Cotts Birmingham on the 21.4.1983 with the rare and desirable OM617 3L Diesel engine and automatic gearbox as well as 7 Seat configuration. 

The OM617 engine is legendary and some say the greatest vehicle engine of all time and also fitted to the Gelande Wagon of the same era. 

This was previously my Fathers car and I have owned the car for the last 10 years but its now time to pass to a new custodian. It is a rolling restoration that has a wonderful patina including the original Blaupunkt 'London" radio cassette, luggage net and original chrome roof bars. Sun Roof. 

The car is running and driving and has a recent overhaul of the brakes, new battery and 2 new tyres. 

The car rides on original Mexican hat alloy wheels but also includes a set of correct steel wheels with desirable matching chrome hub caps fitted with winter tyres. Mexican hat spare present. 

I'm sure there is rust in the usual places, and the paintwork/interior could do with some attention but its in great honest condition for its age and will make someone a great spring/summer project or just enjoy it the way it is. 

These cars are becoming very rare with only 52 left in the UK and only 13 of those on the road. These cars can also be used for overland adventures.
