Original vintage ¼” reel-to-reel master tape recording.
Ventura County Master Chorale presents Frank Guarrera
Featuring Carmina Burana
Recorded at 15 IPS – 2 Track (Stereophonic)
On Scotch Brand (3M) Recording Tape
This is a large metal studio reel housed in its original Scotch plaid recording tape box. The spine is hand-labeled:
“Orff: Carmina Burana – VCC – Scott Henderson – Frank Guarrera”
Included inside are original program materials and vintage newspaper clippings related to the Ventura County Master Chorale performance. The program booklet and clippings add excellent historical provenance and display value.
The reel itself appears to be an aluminum Audio Devices / studio-style reel. A label on the reel notes: “Bosch 370B 2/18/25” (likely equipment reference and date notation from the original recording setup).
