Programming Instructions:

This remote will need to be programmed to your vehicle with your vehicle in order to work with your vehicle.

For programming requirements please review the listing DESCRIPTION page from which you purchased the remote. Typically if we have programming instructions to do-it-yourself we will have then in detail listed on that page. If there is not any programming THEN let us know the FCC ID / PART # of the remote you purchased and if you know it - the system you purchase the remote for we will see if we can locate programming for you. Otherwise;

1.   Please conduct a GOOGLE search with the word program transmitter and then the system you have or program transmitter and the FCC ID or part number of the aftermarket remote you purchased i.e.:  “program transmitter AS200” or i.e.: “Program transmitter ELVAT5C” or….

2.   Refer to the Manual that came with your Aftermarket installed keyless entry system ….

3.   Call the Aftermarket system’s manufacturer or….

4.    Find a local car/audio shop or automotive locksmith to program the remote with a scan tool for free programming please go to

MKYTXPT4G MxYTXPT4G Programming Procedure:

1. Within 3 seconds turn the ignition ON, OFF, ON, OFF, ON.
2. Press and hold the program button - parking lights will come on (if lights don?? come on then turn key OFF for 5 seconds and repeat step 1.
3. Continue to hold the programming button. The parking lights will come on. Continue holding the programming button.
4. Press the LOCK button on each 1st car remote and the # button on each 2nd car remote. The parking lights will flash each time a remote is learned.
5. Release programming button and take out the key.

Note: Programming must be done quickly or you will be timed out. Do not pause more than one second between each remote. All remotes to be used must be programmed at the same programming session. All previously programmed remotes not reprogrammed now will be erased from stored codes. The system can learn up to four remotes including 2nd car remotes. You can program a remote as a 1st car remote in one vehicle and as a 2nd car remote in a second vehicle.
