HELP US TO SAVE THIS BEAUTIFUL OLD VIOLIN LABELLED JACOBUS STAINER
I am offering this old very interesting and beautiful violin from my private collection:
First label: "Copy of Jakobus Stainer. Made in Czechoslovakia." The violin was made after 1918. Second label: "Repaired by František Zyka, master violin maker, Brno, 1947." On the inside of the top plate is a note about repairs made by two violin makers (Karel Matuška and František Zyka) on January 4, 1947. ("Repaired on January 4, 1947 by Karel Matuška and F. Zyka. Brno.")
Estimated age: 100 years
Used.
For renovation.
Scratches.
The violin has a two-piece flamed maple back.
Soundpost is down.
I glued the detached fingerboard.
The upper nut is missing
There is a crack on the top plate under the chinrest, repaired with two wooden patches.
Similarly, there are six patches glued to the joint of the two-piece bottom plate.
Flamed maple on the back plate and side plate.

Back in two pieces.

Body length: 36,3 cm
F stop: 19,3 cm
