2012 Volvo V50 D2 R-Design (1.6 Diesel) on 149654 miles.

For sale as spares or repairs due to turbo boost issue and the MOT has expired.

Reluctant sale as this was a brilliant car prior to the issues with the low tax (£35 for full year), good MPG, plus plenty of space in the boot.

No major marks or scratches on the body work just usual for the age - see pictures.

Full R-Design bodykit and interior - including the two tone cream and black leather seats.

Front and rear parking sensors which work perfectly.

Also comes with the rear dog guard and rubber boot mat.

Full service history up to 135k miles - and plenty of receipts and paperwork for recent work carried out.

Two new front tyres that have barely done any miles.

New Genuine Volvo Fuel Filter.

Brand new battery and alternator fitted as original alternator failed - all charging perfectly now.

Will also come with a Dimsport OBD Remap machine that is locked to the vehicle - with a Stage 1 remap file from HDI Tuning.

The bad point is the boost issue it's been having and really the only reason I'm looking to sell.

Ongoing issue where it does not seem to want hold boost past 2.5-3.0k revs and will enter limp mode - Reduced Engine Performance. 

The below has been carried out to try and resolve:

New silicone hoses and joiners replacing the originals just in case they were split.

New Turbo Control Valve - Genuine Pierburg unit same as original.

New MAP sensor

Recently been in to a diesel injection specialist and all 4 injectors removed, cleaned and resealed as they were leaking.

At the same time wires to the EGR valve and MAF sensor were renewed as these had worn through and shorting. Which has solved one fault code for egr valve at least.

The MAF sensor itself was also replaced with a new unit. All the above work was £1.2kish

It now runs better after the injectors etc. but still has the boost issue unfortunately.

OBD codes are P2599 Turbo Boost Control Signal high and P00BC MAF Sensor circuit.

This may be a simple easy fix for someone that has the time which I unfortunately do not.

Any parts that have been swapped over by myself the originals will come with the vehicle.
