2023-24 Upper Deck Clear Cut Hockey is about as transparent as a card set can get. Everything’s acetate and (almost) everything has an autograph. Like past years, collectors can expect to find one card per hobby box.
Base Autographs take on the same general layout as the flagship 2023-24 Upper Deck Hockey set. The checklist isn’t quite the same, though. Here, it’s a mix of vets, rookies and retired stars. Cards are done on acetate, giving them a clear look and a plastic feel. Veterans are 1:6 packs, rookies land 1:4 and Legends are at at 1:60 packs.
Parallels are also familiar to the main set with Outburst (/25), High Gloss (/10) and Gold Outburst (1/1).
Another set making the flagship jump is UD Canvas Signatures (1:12 packs). Red Ink versions are limited to the player’s jersey number while Gold Ink are one-of-ones.
Sticking with the Canvas theme are Canvas Rookie Debut Signatures (/25). These also have unsigned versions. These are the only cards in 2023-24 Upper Deck Clear Cut Hockey without autographs. They are a bonus in boxes that have a redemption.
Many of the other autographs on the checklist get their inspiration from other brands. Black Diamond has 1998-99 Myriad (1:54 packs) with additional Rookies (1:22 packs) and Legends (1:180 packs). These have Blue (/25) and Gold (1/1) parallels.
Champs Autographs lend a throwback vibe to the modern product. These also have vets (1:12 packs), Rookies (1:105 packs) and Legends (1:105 packs) along with Blue (/50), Red (/10) and Black (1/1) versions.
Other retro designs include 1998-99 Ionix Authentics (1:30 packs), 2003-04 UD Classic Portraits (1:40 packs), and 2006-07 Upper Deck Sweet Shot Autographs (1:25 packs).
Rookie Retro Autographs (1:45 packs) recreate well known Rookie Cards as acetate signatures. These draw from a variety of brands and years.
Clearly Revered Autographs (1:45 packs) has an all-legends checklist. Blue (/25) and Gold (1/1) parallels are also available for these dual-image cards.
Supreme Skill (veterans – 1:30 packs, rookies – 1:17 packs) round things out. These have have Blue (/25) and Gold (1/1) versions.

If a card is pulled that has multiple players on it, whoever has 51% ownership of the teams will win the card. If nobody has 51% of the teams associated with the card, we will use random.org at the end of the break to determine the winner. This listing is not for a specific pack, box or case of cards or memorabilia. There is No Guarantee we will pull a specific card or player, just something from the team you purchase. Pictures in this listing may include images that represent cards or other items which may be available overall in the live break, but do not offer, promise, guarantee or otherwise imply the specific card(s) or other item(s) will be pulled in this break or any future breaks. You are hereby bidding on the opportunity to watch our YouTube Live break. If there is a card pulled that does not have an auction spot, we will use random.org to randomize the card to all auction spots for this break. If a retired player is pulled, we will award it to the team on the card. If no team is on the card, it will be the jersey they are wearing in the picture, then the team they spent time with the longest (if it comes to that). Please, no e-checks, as other buyers will not want to wait for your payment to clear before we can start the break. If a buyer fails to pay on time, their team(s) will be offered up to the group before the start of the break. In the event of a power loss and/or loss of internet service, the show will be put on pause and communication will go out to each winner about when the show picks back up. Refunds are not issued in this case. Bakersfield Hobby cannot assure the claims made by the product companies on their hit guarantees. For instance: If a specific brand claims that there are two autographs/box and we only pull one, this is not grounds for a refund from Bakersfield Hobby.
