Crafted on the foundation of the new Super Auditorium body shape, this addition to the Gold Label Collection serves up a rich flavor of midrange tone reminiscent of old-school acoustic sounds.
The Super Auditorium body evolves the blueprint of Taylor's popular Grand Auditorium shape with a fanned variant of V-Class bracing that delivers exceptional warmth and depth while preserving clarity and midrange focus. With back and sides of solid mahogany paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top, players can expect a woody sonic character with a strong emphasis on the fundamental note, keeping the overtones in check. The Gold Label 514e also boasts Taylor's patented Action Control Neck, which combines a long-tenon joint with an innovative system that allows for fast, precise adjustments to string height.
Appointments for the Gold Label 514e include cream-colored binding with matching Crest fretboard inlays and rosette, a firestripe pickguard, nickel tuning machines, Honduran rosewood bridge pins, and a natural gloss finish. It ships with LR Baggs Element VTC electronics and a deluxe British Cocoa hardshell case.
