Vintage ROSS 4x4 4-Track Mixer Recorder Deck Cassette Player with Original Power Supply - Japan

Red light powers on. Cassette deck noise when pressed, but no movement in the reel wheels. No other testing. Power comes on immediately once on switch is pressed if power supply is plugged in. Does not take multiple attempts like the other eBay listing with this item.

This thing has some dust and grime on it from age and storage. I wiped some of it and it will turn the paper towel brown as with any item that is dusty and this old. The battery bay is in surprisingly good condition with very little corrosion on the springs, as shown with a flashlight in photos. This item has some tape marks and old tape still stuck to it, along with smudging, some markings, etc. overall it’s still in good condition considering age cosmetically.

This will require work from someone knowledgeable with the hardware and model to attempt to work on this. Sold for parts only and as not working. Phonics track used for testing in photos not included.
