This yellow and white alabastro fruit bowl is a classic Archimede Seguso piece, in the shape of a lemon.  These bowls were made in the late 1950s, and examples can be found in the Seguso book "Lace and Stone".  The bowl is in excellent condition.

The bowl is 13.5cm long, 11cm wide including the leaf, and 5cm tall. No label or signature is present on this bowl. However the Seguso attribution is absolutely confirmed. Please note that there are some minute specks of black ash in the bowl, which is consistent with the age of this piece.
