Plug is NEMA 5-20P which means you cannot connect it to a regular plug, the plug has to be compatible (NEMA 5-20R).

Supports loads up to 20 AMP.

Outdoor use.

The receptacle in the cord is NEMA 5-20R, but it is compatible with regular plugs. For more detail see picture.
