All GWimby Faces of the Moon start out as a colored pencil concept drawing. We build a three dimensional armature of wire and aluminum foil. Layers of Sculpty Brand oven cured clay are applied and the moon is baked to perfect doneness. When cooled detail sculpting is done. Painted by hand and finished with multiple coats of gloss or mat glaze Acrylic. Some have other embellishments such as beads, hair, or do dads. FINI. A GWiimby Moon is ready to take it's place in the Universe.
