A carpincho leather palm with a crochet top — the warm-weather driving glove, made in several colours. Carpincho comes from the capybara and carries a fine, evenly dotted grain. It is soft, pliable and notably good at grip, which is why it has a long history as a driving glove leather. It adapts to the hand rather than stretching out of shape. Like peccary it is a wild hide with limited supply, but less widely known — which makes it the quieter choice. The palm holds the wheel and takes the wear; the crochet back lets air through, which is what makes this pair wearable on a long drive in the warm months. Currently stocked in burgundy, green and brown. We can also make them in cognac, or in any other colour we can source.
