Black peccary, cut fingerless, with a padded palm — the rarest of the glove leathers in its most practical form. Our peccary comes from Peru, from the wild collared peccary — a South American relative of the pig, not a boar. The grain is unmistakable: hair follicles growing in groups of three leave a pitted texture no other leather has. It is exceptionally soft from the first wear, naturally breathable, and it moulds to the hand rather than stiffening. The padding sits across the palm where the pressure falls, taking the edge off vibration on a long drive or a long ride. The fingerless cut gives direct contact and full dexterity, and lets the hand breathe. Each pair is hand-cut and finished in our workshop in Târgu Mureș, Transylvania.
