2025-26 SP Game Used Hockey marks the 25th installment of the annual series that helped usher in the original boom of memorabilia relic cards.
As a staple in the hockey card industry since 2000-01, SP Game Used Edition has developed a following that makes it one of the most anticipated releases every year. Upper Deck released similar products for baseball, basketball, and football, but the brand didn’t have the same staying power as it has enjoyed in hockey, lasting one year in baseball, three years in football, and seven years in basketball.
And with a new edition comes a new and exciting chase – cards featuring memorabilia from the inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off that was played between the United States, Canada, Finland, and Sweden in February 2025.
For a second year in a row, SP Game Used Hockey brings collectors a nine-card pack in every box, which includes a combination of four autographs, memorabilia cards, autographed memorabilia cards, or premium insert cards; a combination of three base cards, Authentic Rookies, or New Grooves inserts; and a combination of two base, Authentic Rookies, or New Grooves parallels.
2025-26 SP Game Used Hockey features a 200-card base set, a mixture of veterans and legends, and a run of Authentic Rookies will follow.

There will also be a variety of autographed and memorabilia parallels of the base set and Authentic Rookies.
As the brand name suggests, memorabilia relics will be a big focus in 2025-26 SP Game Used Hockey.
In addition to material used during regular games, Upper Deck has produced cards that include relics from the Stanley Cup playoffs, the NHL Global Series, the NHL Stadium Series, the Winter Classic, and the 4 Nations Face-Off.
Other memorabilia sets include Rookie Sweaters (/299), Troupe Threads (/199), Game Day Gear (/100), Rookie Jumbo Patches (/25), and Supreme Materials (/15).
Supreme Patches (/15) also return, featuring jumbo patches. The set will include patches from the 4 Nations Face Off.
Collectors can also search for Puck Relics and Net Cord cards, which feature goal cords from debuts and other special events.
Continuing a concept that debuted in 2012, Upper Deck brings back Draft Day Marks letter patches. These cards feature manufactured letter patches that, when combined, spell out a draftee’s last name.
A player then signs 35 examples of each letter from his last name, making brilliant display pieces for those collectors who can find every letter.
Rookies also signed for the Inked Rookie Sweaters (/99), which have a Patch parallel (/25). Veterans also have Inked Sweater cards (1:100 packs) and a Patch parallel (/25).
Banner cards are back, featuring slices of banners that commemorate Draft Years, the Global Series, the Stadium Series, the Stanley Cup Finals, and the Winter Classic. These cards also have autographed versions.
Among inserts will be the commonly found New Grooves cards, which have Red (/499), Gold (/149), Rainbow (/99), Purple (/5), and Green (/1) parallels. The set also has Jersey and Autograph parallels
There is also a brand-new, numbered NHL Masters (/299) insert that includes Jersey and Patch parallels of rookies, veterans, and greats of the game.

If nobody has 51% of the teams associated with the card, we will use random.org at the end of the break to determine the winner. In the event of a power loss and/or loss of internet service, the show will be put on pause and communication will go out to each winner about when the show picks back up.
