This is a vintage Hamilton pocket watch, a classic American timepiece dating to 1897, featuring a white enamel dial with bold Roman numerals, a railroad-style minute track, and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock.
It is an open-face manual-wind pocket watch powered by the original Hamilton Watch Co. mechanical movement, Grade 927, featuring 17 jewels, size 18s, model 2, class 3, a lever-set mechanism, adjusted to temperature for precision timekeeping and made in the U.S.A.
The watch is housed in a 54.5mm round gold filled case with engraved finish, paired with a classic bow and crown - a typical design for the era. The crown is located at 3 o'clock.
Presented in working condition with a clean movement and well-preserved dial, this piece represents an excellent collectible example of early American horology.
