This is a Vintage Butz-Choquin Montagnarde No.3 9mm Pipe, Made in St. Claude, France.  This pipe is unique and a rare find in this condition.  The chamber is clean, looks great, and very lightly smoked.  The reddish-brown exterior bowl and shank look good.  I see some very small line marks and a small rub on the left side of the bowl, nothing too noticeable.  The bowl rim is clean with no residue or burn. This pipe has a matching briar shank extension with a silver end cap/band.  The extension fits firmly.  The original acrylic champagne swirl colored stem with the (BC) inset on the left side fits firmly into the shank extension and is in good condition.  This pipe fits 9mm filters.  I will send extra filters with purchase of pipe. The bit/lip look great with very light wear.  Airflow is excellent in this pipe.  Pipe identifies as Butz-Chopuin (in script) over MONTAGNARDE over FILTER 9 on the left side of the shank and ST.
