The PIKO models of the RBe 4/4 family and the control cars from EW II Series have all the relevant details of their respective role models and convincingly reflect the eye-catching head shape.

The railcars have a built-in interior and cab lighting and are implemented exactly in 1:87 scale. Furthermore, the vehicles are characterized by the finest paint and printing, filigree pantographs and a precise roof landscape, attached handle bars and rear view mirror, streak-free windows, sharply engraved bogies and a detailed interior.

The vehicles have a two-momentum engine. The interior lighting is also available as standard at the control car from the factory.

The factory-installed latest-generation PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 masters the data formats DCC with RailComPlus, Motorola and Selectrix. The built-in speaker is tailored to the type of Loktyp. Many loktypische noises such as engine noise, signal horns, brake squeal and other switchable functions are individually retrievable. With adjustable individual mapping for up to 44 functions. The tail light can be switched separately. Sound is also possible in analog mode - only engine noise. The control car is factory-equipped in the digital sets with a function decoder. Brake hoses for optional upgrade for the display case are included.
