Here is one of those wonderful Louis Marx & Company HO gauge electric train sets! It is set 68750, a Hudson freight train set, and it includes some very rare cars! This was arguably the pinnacle of Marx HO trains. Pulled by a diecast #6096 4-6-4 locomotive with a New York Central coal tender, both in black with white lettering. Both are complete, but the wire harness going from tender to loco will need resoldered, and the loco is currently NOT running. Not sure if that resoldering alone will fix it or if there are other issues, but it does LOOK good. The cars consist of a GREEN 10049 Lehigh Valley flat with white lettering green fences and a log load, and the black brake wheel, load strap and all 4 fragile steps all fully original and intact. Then there is a diecast yellow 7210 Erie depressed center flat with brown lettering. ONE of the two brown plastic reels is here. Load strap and brake wheel missing on this one. Next is a powder blue WECX128 Westinghouse diecast depressed center flat with black generator load and black lettering. Brake wheel is missing but otherwise 100%. Last is a 499898 New York Central Tuscan red work caboose with white lettering fully intact including all steps and original brake wheel. There SHOULD also be a NYC crane in this set, but that is missing. A nice assortment of track on plastic roadbed (laid out in one photo), and an UNTESTED HO transformer are also included. So not perfect, but mostly here, and quite a rare set! Lots of photos so you can see what you are getting. Priced fairly, with only actual shipping on the 8 pound package charged to the winner (I give you 4 different shipping options, so you can pick what is best for YOU!).
