This postcard features pictures of Emperor Taisho (大正天皇) and Empress Teimei (貞明皇后) framed in illustrations with symbols of the japanese royalty.
In the back of the postcard, a 1916 commemorative stamp is applied and cancelled by a commemorative cancel, which is also repeated in the front side. The stamp was issued to celebrate the Ceremony of Installing as Crown Prince of Hirohito (later Emperor Showa, 昭和天皇)
The commemorative cancels were issued in Osaka, Japan (大阪)
