Correct installation of collet nut:
1. Put the collet into the gland, turn the gland spring slightly, at this time, the eccentric part of the gland is recessed into the spring groove of the gland. Push the circlip with equal force in the direction of the arrow to install the pressure cap.
2. Install the clamping spring and cover on the chuck body or spindle. After cleaning the cylindrical shank, insert it into the clamping hole, and tighten the pressure cap with a wrench until the tool is firmly clamped before use.
(Note: Do not tighten the pressure cap without the tool installed to avoid damage to the clamping spring)
3. Use a wrench to loosen the gland, remove the collet or tool, and remove the tool. Push out the retaining ring in the direction of the arrow. Then replace other circlips as needed.
