Preowned but in good condition for age/wear. May have some light scratches. Minor discoloration on the underside of the clasp, as shown in pictures.

After researching this item, the name DOUPLAY refers to “double.” Many of these vintage DOUPLAY Germany heavy link bracelets are either gold-filled, rolled gold, or high quality gold-plated, even if they are not explicitly marked as “gold-filled GF.”

Their significant weight was typical of these well-made vintage pieces. Brass or a similar base metal was frequently used as a thick core.
