Antique Manning Bowman camp stove / heater manufactured in Meriden, Connecticut. The base clearly stamped "Manning Bowman- Meriden Conn - Pat. Apr. 26, 1910, confirming early 20th century production. This piece features the original metal fuel tank, upright burner column, and adjustable valve with turned knob. Constructed of heavy metal with a classic utilitarian design typical of early portable stoves iused for camping, hunting, emergency. Uncleaned with original surface patina, showing age-appropriate wear, oxidation, and spotting consistent with over 100 years of use and storage. No cracks or breaks observed.
